Marley was found as a stray in the Benoni area last SPCA were
informed and he remains unclaimed? The People that found him had
been trying to catch him for 2 weeks and its probably no coincidence
he was there as the he neighbours dog was in season! Just to add
insult to injury Marley came down with Biliary after being with us 5
days, it was caught very early and he is fine, he is around 2 maybe
3yrs old at the very oldest, knows how to walk on a lead and is good
with other dogs, he’s a really pleasant dog, very loving! |

Vlekkie is rather a handsome 5yr male, he's
always lived on his own so we can't say what he is like with other
dogs, he is great with children, is house trained and likes to play,
sadly his owners husband died and she doesn't safe living on her own
so is moving to a retirement village where Vlekkie can't go with,
she is very upset and it is a very reluctant re-homing. |

Snowflake and Bumblebee are 2yrs old, snowflake is the female,
fantastic with small children and good with other dogs, they both
love their walks and are both very friendly dogs with lovely
natures. In an ideal world they'd love to go home together but we
know that’s a long shot! Sadly the family has broken up and all the
parties have moved to much smaller properties. |

Muffin is a 12 month very friendly brown girl, She has done
beginners obedience so knows the basics, she loves to play ball and
just adores being made a fuss of. Her owners didn't have the time to
spend with her that she needs so she has found herself needing a new
home. |

Rocky was found as a stray very weak and barely
able to stand, few days at the vet sorted him out but he remained
unclaimed and we were called to help. He is 10 or 11 months old,
retriever cross collie and super friendly! Typical pup who just
wants to live life up and play!

Jeff is a collie cross pup, only barely a year old, can;t see too
well but he does have pale patches of brown on him as well. Has an
under bite just like a Pekinese? Very friendly boy with a super
temperament! Sadly an unclaimed stray :-( |

Max IV is a 9yr boy, he is good with other dogs,
doesn't know cats. He'd rather live with older children, isn't too
keen on toddlers. Max loves his ball and really enjoys his walks, he
is house trained and is a friendly dog. His owners are emigrating
and sadly max can't go with.

Mountie is a super friendly male about 18 months old, he was found
as a stray in the Eastern Cape and nobody claimed him so he found
himself on a flight to Joburg to us. Good with other dogs he's a
buys boy who needs someone to love him :-) |

Prince loves his pool, he's a BC cross retriever 2yrs old, good with
other dogs and children and he has a very loving nature. Takes him a
few minutes to come to you but if win his approval you'll have a
friend for life |

Leila is a pretty little tri colour about 8 months old, she is good
with children and dogs and is a friendly little girl once she has
decided you're safe, can be a wee bit nervous to approach you but
nothing a piece of biltong won't overcome! |

Max III is a friendly male about 12-18 months old, he was an
unclaimed stray :-( Busy boy full of energy and the joy of life, he
is good with other dogs. |

Laddie is a male tri-colour BC just over 1yr
old, he was thrown out of the boot of a car at a garage in
Dullstroom and the "owners" sped off and left him there. He is a
gentle dog who is good with other dogs and cats , quite a “talkie”
boy, not as in barking but he usually has a lot to tell you! He can
clear a 6ft fence with ease so will need a very secure property.

Pair of oldies need a home together, Jason is a KUSA reg
Pembrokeshire Corgi and Wispa a KUSA reg female BC, both are 13yrs
old. The owner isn't going anywhere until they have been homed and
are settled. They both love to play ball and are social with other
dogs but don;t really "do" cats. Being oldies they would prefer
older children, haven't got the patience to put up with toddlers
anymore. Jason rolls over if you tell him "Microsoft" and barks
along with "how much is that doggy in the window..woof woof" |

Tabak is a 2yr male Border Spangi :-) Body of
a corgi, curly spaniel coat but mum was a Border Collie :) Just
wants to cuddle! Great with other dogs but a busy boy, his owners
moved to a smaller property and Tabak was getting increasingly
frustrated at the lack of space.

Fiona is a 5yrs female, loves her walks, water and playtime and is
good with children, she is very friendly with humans and other dogs,
her owner is moving and possibly emigrating so she needs to find a
loving home.

Mojo is a male about 3yrs old, we will have
to work on rehabilitating him for a while before he can go home, he
really doesn't like strangers, nice dog once he knows you but that
takes time! His owner emigrated and couldn’t take him with him, once
he gets to know you he will defend you to the hilt!
Update: Making huge strides with Mojo, different dog to the one who
arrived, becoming a very lovely boy!

Jasper is a very loving boy around 3
to 4yrs old, he was originally
knocked over by a car and sadly
unclaimed? He is good with other
dogs and loves nothing more than to
cuddle you :-) |

Aquilla is a really lekker extremely
busy 3 or 4yr male tri colour.
Originally had terrible mange (hence
his name) but he's looking great
now! We just want him to put a few
kgs on before he goes home.

fully cured and looking stunning
now! He was quite scrawny but has
put weight on nicely so is now ready
to carry on being fattened up in his
new home. He’s a really friendly dog
for an active family.

Zoe is a female about 4 yrs old,
rescued from abusive owners in JNB.
She has been through her basic
obedience training, did very well &
is of course very BRIGHT, ALERT &
OBEDIENT. She is part of a pack of 8
dogs, well socialized with GSD,
Maltese, Yorkie, Pekes etc. She
loves people, kids, toys,
retrieving, running after birds AND
she is very vocal. Walks well on a
lead but misbehaves in a car by
trying to catch people or cars
passing by. She is used to having
the run of the house inside &
outside + fenced garden. She sleeps
inside at night & despite all the
exercise, she is a bit overweight.
She is just too busy for her current
owners who are in White River.

unwanted (x2) and got dumped. A
friendly lady found me, and now we
are looking for a new special home
for me.
I like kids (big and small) and
other [mostly female]doggies. Not so
sure about cats and birds…..Please

Kayla is an incredibly friendly very
energetic loving female 3 or 4yrs
old.
She is just full of the joys of life
and everybody is a friend, she's
great with children, might flatten
smaller kiddies in her enthusiasm to
say hello though, good with cats,
was great in the car today, loves to
play and loves
her walks! She'd prefer to have male
canine company, likes to be Queen
