Chakotay comes to us from Louisville, Kentucky, in the USA.
That is 14 800km or 9 200 miles away! She was chosen for her Australian lines and working drive.

Majestic Border Collies are lovingly owned, handled and bred by Mike and Ronni DeLay.  Raised in our home in USA, our dogs actively participate in Agility, Conformation, Herding and Obedience.  Although we only breed on a limited basis, our goal has always been to produce sound Border Collies with outstanding temperaments that can 'do it all'.  To that end, we are very proud of our accomplishments.  

Majestic Border Collies is home to the first Breeder/ Owner handled champion in the USA - V Ch Majestic Terbo's Magic Moment HT, CD, NA, ROMX.  We are the first to have bred Award of Merit winners two years in a row at the Border Collie National Specialty and also the first to achieve these awards on dogs that have earned the BCSA Versatility award. We would like to congratulate the 1998 Award of Merit winner (awarded by Judge John Ritchie of Scotland) - our own V Ch Majestic Jet Ruelle UD, OA, AAD, VNAC, PT, CGC and the 1999 Award of Merit winner (awarded by Judge Bruce Kilsby of Leicestershire, UK) - VX Dual ChX Majestic Outlander HXAs, HCT, OTDs, CDX, TDI owned by Kelly Whiteman of BonniDune Kennels.  

Majestic Border Collies is also proud of the achievement of winning both the 'Champion Dog With A Herding Title' class and the 'Champion Bitch With A Herding Title' class the first time this class was offered at the BCSA National Specialty - again by dogs who have earned BCSA Versatility awards. These two special dogs are littermates: VX Dual ChX Majestic Outlander HXAs, HCT, OTDs, CDX, TDI (who went on to win his AOM from this class) and V ChX Majestic Prophesy Of Grandeur HT, PT, HS, NA, ROMX. 

Majestic Border Collies is the first to breed three generations of BCSA Versatility Titled dogs.
